About the role
Location: Edinburgh or Glasgow office
Workplace type: Hybrid working. You will be required to work a minimum of 1 day per week in the office. This is a minimum, but you may opt to be office based up 5 days per week.
Hours per week: 35 hours per week
Type of contract: permanent
Salary scale: (Job Level 4) £32,081- £39,210 per annum, commensurate with skills and experience.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior IT Engineer to support our vital work at Citizens Advice Scotland. In this key role as part of the infrastructure team, you’ll be a point of contact for the helpdesk to ensure our systems are operating as intended. You’ll also ensure our entire IT estate is online and available to the 2500 service users across Scotland. From resolving a vast array of IT issues to implementing infrastructure improvements, your expertise will help us maintain the IT Infrastructure that enables the bureaus to focus on making a difference to the communities in Scotland. You’ll also play a central role in Infrastructure projects such as system upgrades, cloud transitions, and cybersecurity enhancements.
As our Core Infrastructure is currently undergoing a major upgrade program, now is a great time to join CAS and make a mark on the future IT landscape and the services delivered daily.
